Admission Procedure

A Four-year Degree academic programme leading to B.Tech.

Eligibility:
10+2 or Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from Recognised board or Council with minimum 50% in PCM.

Application Procedure in NSIT for Admission:

NSIT welcomes all the Applicants in our NSIT's Online Application portal at www.nsit.in  which will make the process of application simpler, easier and convenient.

1. For applying online, please visit www.nsit.in �
2. Click on Apply Online tab �
3. Click one option among 3 given payment procedure, You would see the Application Form �
4. Click on Browse  tab, give the path of scan/soft copy of the Applicant�s photograph and Fill the required fields. �
5. Then Click on Next tab, �
6. Check your filled up fields, Fill the other required fields and Click on Submit tab �

Note: You can add more lines to the Educational Qualification/Rewards/Language Known by clicking Green + sign.

7. if any modification needed, Click on Modify tab otherwise Click  Submit tab �.

8. You will get a alert screen in which your Application Reference No. will be displayed. Please note the Application Reference No. This no. is very important for you for future dealings with us �

9. If you have opted the payment option 2 (i.e. Online Payment Gateway), then click on Pay Now tab. In this Payment option, you can pay the Application Form Fee with the help of Net Banking, ATM cum Debit Card and Credit Card etc.

Note: 1. Be prepared with the scan/soft copy of the Applicant�s photograph in all 3 given payment procedure, before going to fill the Online Application Form.

  2. In the Payment option 1 (Cash deposit at SBI), Before filling up the Application Form, the scan/soft copy of the Cash receipt of Rs.550/- with the transaction ID  deposited at your local SBI Branch.

How To Download Your Admit Card For Entrance Test

The Admit Card for the Entrance Test may be downloaded from the website www.nsit.in after validation of your Application Form details and Fee deposited. You will get SMS alert on your Cell for downloading the Admit Card after validation.

Click Get Your Admit Card tab �

Enter your Application Reference No. �

Click Submit tab, then you will se your Admit Card on the screen,

Take a print out of it.

Note:- Please carry one photo Identity Proof during Entrance Test at NSIT Campus, failing which you would not be allowed for appearing in the Test. (ID Proof as: Driving License, Admit Card of Your 10^th or 12^th Exam. Etc)

ADMISSION PROCESS

A written Test based on Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (30 nos of Objective Questions each from PCM of +2 Level) would be conducted on 29^th July 2012, Sunday. The Counseling of All the successful students will be held on the Same day (29^th July 2012, Sunday) as per their performance in the written test. The Branch will be nominated as per your rank scored.

Note: AIEEE-2012 Rank Holders may apply for Direct Admission in B.Tech. Batch 2012-16.

Curriculum Overview:

The courses for the Degree of B.Tech. shall extend over a period of Four academic years. Divided into 8 semesters.
